Eldwi story
From a handful of doctors’ names in a small notebook to an international advisory platform. The story of a path that began with love for family.
Some questions sound simple, yet no clear answer waits for them anywhere on the internet.
“Suppose that one day you decide to move to Thailand and build a life here safely. You want it to become a genuine second home, with a community around you, friends who speak your language, and care that understands you, in both language and culture. Where would you even begin?”
That single question is where Thanakorn Schlottmann decided to build Eldwi.com.
The Beginning:
A List Written Out of Love
In 2021, Tanakorn founded Entiverse Co., Ltd. in Bangkok, designing websites for a broad range of clients, government agencies among them. Yet in another area of her life she was carrying a quieter and far heavier responsibility. Her father, her mother, and her grandfather were still living in the provinces. And so she became the family’s sole long-distance carer.
She researched everything herself, drawing on people who had lived through it. She built a record and a database of carefully selected specialist physicians, hospitals with particular expertise, patient transport services, in-home nurses for the elderly, home physiotherapy, and nutritionists for the patients in her own family.

“ Good information can change the quality of someone’s life. Its absence can cost them months of searching for an answer I already had. ”

Frankfurt:
The City That Widened a Dream
Tanakorn’s life changed course again when she married a German and moved to Frankfurt, Germany. There she learned German and came to know another world entirely: a country advanced in both economy and technology, where incomes are high, and yet where people wait months, sometimes almost a year, for a medical appointment.
At gatherings, in cafés, in the small conversations of ordinary days, the same questions kept finding their way back to her. Is Thailand safe? How well would the hospitals there look after us? If I wanted to move there and retire, where would I begin? Tanakorn answered every one of them with real-life knowledge, not from a brochure, not from a travel website, and not from a ready-made reply produced by artificial intelligence. Her answers came from her own life’s experiences, from the people on the ground, and from the foreigners who had genuinely made their homes in Thailand.
And that was the moment an idea began to take shape, growing clearer with each passing day, until it became a sentence she said to herself. I should do this properly, and do it as well as I possibly can, the same way I cared for my own parents.
Eldwi: More Than a Platform, a Promise
Eldwi.com was born from the same principle as that database of names years before, only expanded, methodically, in scale and in depth. Tanakorn never set out to build another directory of links. She set out to build a Personal Plan, shaped carefully and individually alongside each client. No plan comes ready-made, and no two are ever alike, because no two lives are ever alike.
Eldwi’s work spans retirement planning in Thailand, wellbeing and health, and medical information for Europeans seeking care of international quality. Every Plan is drawn from public information that has been filtered with great care, and delivered in a form the client can act on themselves, at the pace of their own life.
This website is prepared as a starting point for decision-making only. Information does not constitute legal, financial, or medical advice. Information is accurate as of May 2026 and may change. Eldwi recommends consulting appropriate specialists before any final decision. Providers listed in Personal Plans are contacted and paid directly. Eldwi does not act as agent or accept liability for services provided by listed providers. Eldwi.com is operated by Entiverse Co., Ltd., Chiang Mai, Thailand.
