into a company

Eldwi story
From a handful of doctors’ names in a small notebook to an international advisory platform. The story of a path that began with love for family.
Some questions sound simple, yet no clear answer waits for them anywhere on the internet.
“Suppose that one day you decide to move to Thailand and build a life here safely. You want it to become a genuine second home, with a community around you, friends who speak your language, and care that understands you, in both language and culture. Where would you even begin?”
That single question is where Thanakorn Schlottmann decided to build Eldwi.com.
A Woman Who Sees Problems Through a Designer’s Eyes
Tanakorn was born in 1983 and grew up in the gentle warmth of Lampang, in northern Thailand, before studying computer graphic design at Rangsit University in Bangkok. She would go on to make Chiang Mai her home for most of her life, a city that people the world over dream of settling in.
She belongs to a generation that looks at the world through a designer’s eyes. She is drawn to modern technology, and she has always believed that every problem in life is a brief waiting to be designed, not a fate to be accepted with lowered eyes.
The Beginning:
A List Written Out of Love
In 2021, Tanakorn founded Entiverse Co., Ltd. in Bangkok, designing websites for a broad range of clients, government agencies among them. Yet in another quarter of her life she was carrying a quieter and far heavier responsibility. Her father, her mother, and her grandfather were still living in the provinces, and her relatives had burdens of their own. And so she became the family’s sole long-distance carer for its elders, all while holding down a full-time job in Bangkok.
She researched everything herself, drawing on people who had lived through it, on websites, on the honest comments buried in social media. Specialist physicians, hospitals with particular expertise, patient transport services, in-home nurses for the elderly, home physiotherapy, and nutritionists for the patients in her own family. Each time she found a service she could trust, she recorded it methodically and filed it so that it could be found again. And each time a friend or an acquaintance faced the same predicament, the names in that notebook were passed straight on.

“ Good information can change the quality of someone’s life. Its absence can cost them months of searching for an answer I already had. ”

Frankfurt:
The City That Widened a Dream
Tanakorn’s life changed course again when she married a German and moved to Frankfurt. There she learned German and came to know another world entirely: a country advanced in both economy and technology, where incomes are high, and yet where people wait months, sometimes almost a year, for a medical appointment. There is a saying she heard often. Unless it is truly an emergency, people here do not go to the hospital. Seeing a specialist is no simple matter, and the dream of retiring somewhere warm still drifts through the minds of millions of Europeans.
At gatherings, in cafés, in the small conversations of ordinary days, the same questions kept finding their way back to her. Is Thailand safe? How well would the hospitals there look after us? If I wanted to move there and retire, where would I begin? Thanakorn answered every one of them with knowledge drawn from real experience, not from a brochure, not from a travel website, and not from a ready-made reply produced by artificial intelligence. Her answers came from her own life, from the people on the ground, and from the foreigners who had genuinely made their homes in Thailand.
And that was the moment an idea began to take shape, growing clearer with each passing day, until it became a sentence she said to herself. I should do this properly, and do it as well as I possibly can, the same way I cared for my own parents.
Eldwi: More Than a Platform, a Promise
Eldwi.com was born from the same principle as that notebook of names years before, only expanded, methodically, in scale and in depth. Tanakorn never set out to build another directory of links. She set out to build a Personal Plan, shaped carefully and individually alongside each client. No plan comes ready-made, and no two are ever alike, because no two lives are ever alike.
Eldwi’s work spans retirement planning in Thailand, wellbeing and health, and medical information for Europeans seeking care of international quality. Every Plan is drawn from public information that has been filtered with great care, and delivered in a form the client can act on themselves, at the pace of their own life.
“ What gives me the greatest happiness in this work is helping others with real precision and care, and above all caring for Germans, from the country that has become my second home. ”

A Vision Larger Than Herself
For Tanakorn, Eldwi is not merely a private business. It is a bridge joining two worlds. On one side stand Europeans who hold a dream but still lack information they can trust. On the other stand Thai businesses full of potential, yet still unseen on the international stage.
She believes that bringing foreign capital into the Thai economy, through introductions that are transparent and ethical, creates genuine value in three directions at once. Clients gain a better plan for their lives. Thailand gains residents and investors of real quality. Thai businesses raise themselves toward international standards. And she herself gets to do work she loves and finds meaningful.
From a list of names in a notebook, kept by a young woman from Lampang so that she could care for her parents, to a platform that is quietly changing the way Europeans see Thailand. This is a story still being written.
And most important of all, it still begins, as it always has,
from the same heart: a care for other people.
Thank you for your kind support.
We truly appreciate it.
Tanakorn’s dream could never have come true without everyone who gave her the opportunity, and who supported what she set out to do.
